Eyewear Consultant
Michael Hagarman
Precision. Performance. Personal style.
Michael brings together precision optics, modern lens technology, fashion, and personal style to create an eyewear experience that is both highly technical and highly personal.

Precision
The technology behind the frame
With years of experience in optical, Michael has developed a deep understanding of lens design, materials, measurements, frame fit, and the technology behind today's eyewear.
He takes the time to understand not only a patient's prescription, but how they actually live, from work and screen use to driving, sports, hobbies, and personal style, so that every recommendation makes sense for the individual.
Fashion
An eye for fit and presentation
Before entering optical, Michael spent four years in the Calvin Klein retail environment, where he developed an appreciation for fashion, fit, presentation, and the importance of understanding personal style.
Today, he brings that same eye to eyewear, helping patients find frames that complement how they look and feel while ensuring the lenses and fit perform exactly as they should.
Patient journey
From eye exam to finished eyewear
Michael also has experience supporting the clinical side of eye care and contact lenses, giving him a well-rounded understanding of the patient journey from eye exam to finished eyewear.
Performance
Shaped long before optical
A lifelong musician, Michael began playing upright bass at a young age and earned his bachelor's degree from Kutztown University. He has performed professionally in orchestras, bands, and jazz ensembles and has experience in both live audio production and studio recording.
For Michael, the connection between music and optics is natural: small adjustments can make an enormous difference.
At Ardmore
Eyewear that feels right
At Ardmore Eye & Optical, he brings that philosophy to every patient, combining technical precision with an understanding of fashion, fit, lifestyle, and individuality to create eyewear that doesn't simply correct vision, but feels right for the person wearing it.
Small adjustments can make an enormous difference.
